Our outpatient model allows Nuclear Medicine Technologist to focus on image quality, radiation safety, and patient care without rotating shifts or unpredictable scheduling demands.

Position Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs positron emission tomography procedures in accordance with established protocols, regulatory standards, and radiation safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and positioning patients for PET examinations
  • Operating PET imaging equipment with precision and adherence to protocol
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety standards
  • Monitoring patients during imaging procedures
  • Applying aseptic techniques and infection control practices
  • Reviewing images for quality and completeness
  • Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Collaborating with radiologists and referring providers to support accurate diagnostic interpretation

This role emphasizes technical expertise, radiation safety compliance, and a commitment to diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Certification or licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology or PET
  • Experience performing PET examinations required
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Solid understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills

Prior experience in nuclear medicine or advanced imaging environments highly preferred.
